Starry Night

Sunday is my day of rest so I needed to paint something that was not too exhausting and I needed to get it finished as early as possible.  I thought this subject would give good relief from the daily pressures of painting.  I did find it a bit bone chilling though sitting out on my deck in pajamas in the middle of the night!  And my self imposed two hour time limit was barely long enough to get all of the minute details into this painting.  I do hope you notice the roof tops at the bottom!  Unfortunately during the two hours the moon did change location a bit and the stars were not always stable as I tried to place them in their exact constellations.

Anyway, this is day 5 behind me and the whole process to this point has been great fun.  Onward we go!
