Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day 26
Metchosin Barn #2
6" x 6" Acrylic on loose canvas
$45

I have mentioned earlier that I paint with a group of three others about once a month in the Metchosin area.  In fact I was out there yesterday (January 25, 2014) painting with them.  I often drive past this barn and have posted it before on Day 13, but I thought it might be interesting to see it from a different angle.  Often times a different view point makes for an interesting painting.

Looking at the barn from a different perspective reminds us that there are many different ways of looking at life and some of the challenges we face.  We can either see them as stumbling blocks in the road, or we can consider them to be stepping stones to better things ahead.  It’s all a matter of what viewpoint we choose to take!

  1. The barn is more prominent in this painting as opposed to the one of the 13th--both are nice.
