Day 9 of 30 day challenge

I was born and raised in the Drumheller, Alberta area so would often visit these "HOODOOS" which where fairly close to where we lived.  The Alberta blue sky forms a nice backdrop to these unique rock formations.  A two hour painting can't do justice to the impressiveness of these strange looking figures but I believe I got the basic idea.  I guess it's something like cooking.  One can get a meal on the table in a hurry if need be, but it will just be the basics.  If you want to prepare a fine four or five course treat for the taste buds it's going to take some time.  The same is true for painting a finished work or art.  Anyway, enjoy what you have before you!
